The design takes inspiration from the dynamic nature of an active volcano. The goal is to create a visual representation of molten lava flowing into the sea and the cooling process that generates rising smoke.
The floor pattern and furniture design evoke the transition from red-hot lava to a solidified, black substance as the material cools down. The TV wall design, in a lighter color, resembles the smoke produced during the lava’s cooling process. This contrast helps the TV screen stand out as the focal point amidst the volcanic scene.
To capture the effect of the dynamic nature of an active volcano, we have used a malleable material like copper sheets to mimic the viscous flow of lava. Recessed RGB LED lighting is incorporated to simulate the glowing, molten appearance of the lava.
The extensive use of state-of-the-art RGB LED lighting and screen effects throughout the space successfully transports the viewer into the immersive atmosphere of an active volcano.
