The design of the restaurant area is centred around the qualities of ‘Sumac’, a vibrant crimson spice widely employed in the culinary traditions of the Arabic region.
We were inspired to bring a deep red hue and a unique texture to various materials utilized within the restaurant setting. With its distinctive appearance and rich cultural significance, this versatile spice enhances not only the flavours of traditional dishes but also the visual aesthetics of the restaurant’s decor and presentation. By harnessing the captivating qualities of sumac, the restaurant not only pays homage to the rich culinary heritage of the Lebanese region but also creates an immersive and visually captivating dining experience for its patrons.
