The design utilizes the prominent feature of the location, which is the high ceiling & full-height curtain wall to its advantage. This is achieved by incorporating arches along the glass wall, which serve as a frame to showcase the breath-taking 180-degree view of Causeway Bay.

The client’s vision for Vivere is for it to operate as a restaurant during the day and transform into a lively lounge/bar at night. The main challenge lies in striking a balance between creating an elegant dining experience and fostering a relaxed yet vibrant atmosphere in the lounge/bar.

The design concept drew inspiration from the transformative journey of freshly squeezed grape juice evolving into wine. Which perfectly aligns with the client’s vision for the light and day transformation from restaurant to bar respectively.

To capture this essence, the colour palette for the design prominently featured deep burgundy hues, complemented by tasteful accents of wood, warm textures and gold metals.To set the desired ambiance, a combination of warm lighting and burgundy  furniture with a splash of gold is employed. This carefully balanced mood enhances the overall aesthetic.

 

In order to maximize the ceiling height, large speakers are discreetly placed on the ground and cleverly integrated into the elegant sofa design. This ensures that the speakers remain hidden from view while seamlessly blending with the overall design theme. Achieving a harmonious blend of sophistication for a restaurant as well as a cultivating a laid-back yet lively ambiance for a lounge/bar.
